If you want to install mods for Minecraft 1.11.2 you should have launched at least once the game with the version you want to add mods. If you have a Minecraft Premium account you will only have to create a new profile with the version you like, click on play and wait until the menu screen has shown up.
If, by chance, you haven't bought the game , I advice you to follow this tutorial to download the Pirate Minecraft version and be able to load any version available.
Once we have the Minecraft version we want, we would have to download Minecraft Forge, execute the programme and ... like in the following image, choose install forge client having choosen the .minecraft location previously.
With those 3 steps we will have forge installed, what was needed to have mods on our Minecraft.
Once installed, we will go to our launcher, chose the profile "Forge", click on edit (just to know which forge version we are playing) and instead of "Forge" we will write something like "Fforge 1.11.2". Click on save and launch the game.
Once you have launched Minecraft, we will see at bottom left corner that it says that we have instaled 4 mods, which means that the installation was succesfully done.
As a last step, if we want to install more mods, we shall search for the .minecraft/mods file, where we will paste every mod file that we want to install.
